I can not get enough of this stuff! 😄
Does anyone know the version of the Ju88? The nose looks far to long for me...
24 June 2013, 09:24

Hi Holger,
the Ju-88 is a (badly made) replica partially using original parts (tail, wing panels) of a machine which was shot down over Norway. This machine was a Ju-88A-5, WNr. 1379 (G2+HB), used by 1.(F)124.

Thank you Markus! Very informative! What reference do you have about this particullary aircraft?(Whispering: And you are right, this is really a badly made replica!)😢
24 June 2013, 13:54

Hi Holger,
not much actually. Many sources agree that the machine in question is a A-5, but I have seen it labeled as a A-4 and a D-1 as well. One source (Luftwaffe in Norway SIG) says the machine was a D-1, lost due to a pilot error (luftwaffe.no/SIG/Losses/tap421.html). Have to say I'm a bit confused... 🙁

Ha, maybe it is an A-4, A-5 and D-1 actually, due to the mixture of parts where used!
Thank you for the link, seems to be very useful in the future for me.

Yes, Mike, it is! Perhaps I will pay the museum a visit before summer vacation...

Holger the Ju-88 is a replica with the tail and wings of the Ju 88A-5 1379 "HH+4V" G2+BH. Hpes this helps.

To my infos, it is a French recon vehicle. I forgot the name... It is able to drive on the steel wheels only. Looks crazy, doesn't it?🙂
25 June 2013, 16:58

Hi Stefan - thx a lot for so much pics - great.
@Holger - A little correction to the EBR. The steel wheels were dropped down when the ground was very bad and they worked together with the street wheels but never alone. The first time I saw the EBR was in a little belgien museum and I have has the chance talking with the owner...

Hi Stefan. Thanks for sharing the pics. I went there about 3 years ago. Great museum. It takes almost a whole day to visit, but it's worth it. Best regards, Lesley
