Thanks, Guys. It took me a while, as I was determined to cover all aircraft flown by the squadron. There are still a couple I need to add, such as a Sopwith Pup, a Fairey Battle and an Anson, for the Meteor conversion work. A couple of Magisters won't go amiss, either.

Man, that wiring in 1/72 is VERY impressive. Massive job, well executed.

Thanks guys. Whilst discovering the lesser aircraft used by the Squadron was hard enough, determining serials and markings and proved well-nigh impossible. Not totally, but close enough.

Great collection, I remember some of those aircraft flying when my father was stationed at Leuchars and Singapore in the 60s. Thanks for displaying. 🙂

Thank you. I did particularly enjoy doing the Frightenings!

Album info
From what started as a quest to build that smart Matchbox Lightning of my youth, a realisation that I had other 74 Squadron aircraft in The Stash and the release of the Xtradecal sheet of the history of 74, grew to become a very, very interesting journey.
From my very initial researches, I realised that there were lots of gaps, subjects omitted from the Xtradecal sheet. Having acquired the 'main' players, I began to build the relevant training aircraft, before learning of the assorted hacks and so forth.
Whilst close to completion, my journey is not yet over. I need at least to add an Avro 504K, a Sopwith Pup, a Fairey Battle and an Avro Anson. A couple of Miles Magisters and a Hawker Henley should complete my trip.
