Thank you Martyn! This is my first oil paint colour modulation attempt.

Really nice look. Chipping looks great. I am in the midst of building a KV-1E so appreciate the photos of your work. My green is much darker. I needed to use spray cans so opted for Tamiya dark green which is close to Model Master Acryl Russian Armour Green. Like the modulated effect on your green. What colours did you choose?

Thank you for your appreciative words Alan! I used the Model Master Dark Green. The base colour is really dark indeed but I lighted with Humbrol 63 and simply matt white. The oil paints are the commonly used colours: ochre, dark blue, white and burnt umber.
The russian green is not so definitive because in the war they used every available paints like US. olvie drapp and german green mixing with diesel oil and this caused the satin look of tank's surface.

Good to see you like it! Although, I'm not satisfied with my work.
Hunter! Frank's album contains everything what you need for the mud 🙂
The splash mud drops made by airbrush and an old paintbrush.
