Thanks Clifford, I'm doing the Guadalcanal version which is Neutral grey on top and light grey on the bottom. I was doing some shade testing last night with Tamiya paints of those colors, they are very similar.

The Revell kits aren't that bad Jermaine, the best part of them is that they are cheap, and the newer ones actually have recessed panel lines. But I am rapidly becoming an Academy fan.

I agree on the price, that's why I have so many of them. When I got back into the hobby it's all I bought. Then I realized that almost all the ones I bought had raised panel lines, bummer. Now with the help of scalemates I will be able to weed out the good from the bad. I have been buying other brands lately but at a much higher cost! The way I see it, I'm still getting back on my feet and the Revell kits our what i consider good learning tools now. I will build all of them, after all they did cost me money. LOL!

good day I can advise you to save money find out on the Internet about the desired model because many firms repackage models of famous brands and sell them much cheaper than the original manufacturers
