Finished this earlier in the year. The water splash was created with piano wire placed in pre-drilled holes then covered with clear caulking. The "splash" and the rest of the water were then painted with acrylic paints. The smoke coming from the bomber was made by using piano wire and hot gluing deformed cotton balls to the wire. It was turned sooty colored by misting black paint over it prior to placement in the aircraft. The black and white pics were the inspiration for the model. Before anyone says the smoke is in the wrong place, look closely at the pics. It appears to be coming from the bomb bay. Let me know what you all think!!!
