30 September 2014, 08:06

belts, braces, buckles, chin straps and straps for bags and guns next ? 🙂
Did the WW2 jeeps and staff cars have seat belts back then ?
30 September 2014, 16:04

@Choppa Nutta they didn't, Volvo took off patient on seatbelts in early 1970, so before then - it was illegal to make seatbelts. 😄
30 September 2014, 17:02

illegal !!that's crazy !!
anyhow, lets hope that Es brings out some 1:144 PE just for you😉
30 September 2014, 17:14

Thats really a cool idea and i never saw such glasses before! Essi, well done!
1 October 2014, 08:39

It looks really good. Congratulations for the originality and for the quality too of course 😉
4 October 2014, 23:05

For keeping the shipping expenses at its least, mates who have the chance to meet each other can buy in groups.
5 October 2014, 18:27

The second set is awsome, do you know by chance how much shipping to Germany is?
5 October 2014, 18:47

Thats seriously some cool stuff! You already have my adress, Essi!😢
5 October 2014, 19:15

Thanks, so I guess it would be cheaper if we find a bunch of people from around here and send it to one of them, who sends it then to the others as a letter...
5 October 2014, 19:20

@ Holger:Thank you dear Holger! I have your address Holi! Mr. Holger Kranich, Heaven on the earth (Wangerooge)!😉
@ Fabian:I guess so Fabian! How much does it get for sending a letter in Germany?
5 October 2014, 19:45

I´m ordering for me, Mike and Arne. Fabian und Holger: Ihr könnt mit auf den Zug aufspringen. Ich werde an der Sache natürlich nichts verdienen. Die Kosten für´s Porto werden geteilt.
5 October 2014, 19:51

standard letter (max. 23,5x12,5 cm) is right now 60ct (0,6€) whole Germany, in one day...
5 October 2014, 19:52

@ Acki: Thank you for noticing it!
@ Fabian: It's too cheap! Very good!
5 October 2014, 20:09

now I´m asking myself, is this purely coincidal?
armorama.com/modules..rticle&sid=17743
mhh, but I don´t like their way of attatching the glasses to the "sprues"... your´s look better there! 😉
5 October 2014, 21:02

Wow! I hadn't see it before! When have they published it?! I think They have used my idea!
5 October 2014, 21:12

I see... I should be more careful about my ideas then! :/ Thank you Fabian!
5 October 2014, 21:20

good ideas will always proliferate 🙂
go one better and do a fret with glasses, shades, watches, buckles, straps, gun straps, binocular straps, helmet straps, braces, a few eye patches and monocles, handcuffs for prisoners, knives, pocket watch and chain, cigarette case, a playing card for a helmet decoration, badges and medals etc.
so that one fret has a good amount of variety on it and can adorn many soldiers with different attire ie. a nice range of bits and pieces that will cater for a decent sized diorama, couple of pocket watch and chains, cigarette cases, eye patches and monocles, a handful glasses, shades and watches, loads of straps of each kind and badges etc. you know, like a healthy mix of all the bits a squad might have 🙂
5 October 2014, 22:22

Great ideas Choppa! That would definitely be awesome and I would be buying them, along with some of the other PE sets I have on my wishlist at the moment! 🙂 Something like the straps / figure detailing sets from Alliance Model maybe, that would be really nice: armorama.com/modules..article&sid=9830
You know what would be truly great? Some ALLIED figure detailing sets! Or, as mentioned in the Armorama article I linked to above, some ALLIED weapons slings, especially for the M1 Garand and Thompson! Those are really hard to scratch...
As for the glasses / watches set done by Aber, that was already in the works for quite some time! I have seen pre-order announcements for that particular PE fret dating back as far as early June 2014. It is just a coïncidence. Great minds think alike, you know 😉
Pretty much everything has been done before, I think 😉 The best way to beat the competition is to offer more value for money. So far, that is exactly what you are doing Es-haq 👍
6 October 2014, 07:09

@Es-hay I will order two of them!!
@Acki, Fabian, Holger und Mike
Ok, ich vertraue Acki.
6 October 2014, 07:41

Gut, ich bestell dann 5 Satz. Mehr geht auch nicht. Evtl. schlägt sonst noch der Zoll zu und man sitzt dort Stunden und muß evtl. noch nachzahlen. Das macht die Sache nur teurer.
6 October 2014, 09:29

Looking great mate but you should consider to number each fret as you go.
6 October 2014, 09:53

Why not something in the lines of KMA-72XXX You can then have several series depending on scale.
6 October 2014, 11:27

Thank you Matthias! Yesterday i sent five pieces of this to Germany. 🙂
23 October 2014, 14:08

You can pay easily. But if you want to reduce the shipping costs, it's better to buy a few pieces with your friends. Shipping will been 10 euros.
24 October 2014, 15:49
