Marc Stecher autorCatastrophy! While masking the rudders, the primer on the right wing started tearing off. Sanded the afflicted area and reapplied primer. Hopefully it is ok now. But 2 days work are lost.

Thomas BischoffPitty - a primer must stick to the surface and not the mask. What primer are you using and did you wash the kit with soap?

Marc Stecher autorHi Thomas, I'm using the Vallejo PU Primer and had no problems with it ever since. I assume, too, that I didn't clean that part of the wing thoroughly enough. I will apply the skyblue to the rudder today and mask it tomorrow, again, to apply the mediterranian blue to the rest of the belly.

Thomas Bischoffnice work, your youngest one can really be proud. The canopy is very clear, did you dip it future or anything similar?
