Yet another good'un Wesley. Expertly weathered – looks the real deal. The paint chipping looks especially good.

Thanks Irvin and Gorby! The Tiger I is my favorite tank of WWII ! Just looking at it made you scared! 🙂

Nice Tiger, Wesley. To avoid frustration with the decals next time, try to apply gloss coat BEFORE applying the decals. They need a 100% plane and smooth surface.
Another hint when you want to show a chipped and worn painting: you have painted two-colour chips with brush - so far so good. But you should complete that with the sponge method for the tiny little scratches in the paint. Put a little piece of foam material in a self closing tweezer and apply dark chocolate brown colour by carefully dabbing where colour would wear in reality (edges, hatches etc.).
Maybe you would like to have a look at the Power Loader of my Aliens scene. I did the chipping with exactly the technique I described:

Please check the detail pictures 18-25
Keep on glueing!

Thanks Ulf for the good tips! I will try it on my next project! 🙂

Nice figure details and two-colour chipping 👍. Tiger I might be one of my next projects... two kits already waiting for me 😄
@ small chips: I also like to use the hairspray technique with chipping fluid in combinations with a sponge...

Thanks Xerxes! Looking forward to see you build a Tiger! 😉

Also to avoid decal silvering, I always cut (with a sharp Xacto) the decals as near as possible of the individual numbers or symbols borders. 😉

Another finishd projekt! Not happy with the decals! I put them on with set and sol and afterwards a coate of clear coate, but when it dryed up the decals started to pop up! 🙁
