This diorama is lit beautifully I think, with real looking shadows. 🙂 I should start making dioramas at least to try get started, but it looks so difficult.

Btw, Tamiya has a product that comes with white chalk (afaik color is called "snow" ), to be applied with a brush or qtip, but I wonder, do you guys using snow have use for white chalk on your models? I am trying to figure out how that can be used, but I am stumped and a little confused. Maybe for a very fine layer of snow perhaps?

I've never used chalk but that may be an interesting product to try out. Fortunately there are a number of commercial products available that give a great effect.

I have used white Moltofill to give a snow effekt, if wetted you can make imprints (boots, chains, tires) which harden in about 2 hours.
