Nathan DempseyMany nice models and displays. I think I see the work of some mates there too. Thanks for sharing & looking forward to the other albums.

Glenn autorThanks guys! Yes that stripped down Tomcat was great a lot of work in 1/32 scale! Another highlight was the new Saunders Roe Princess flying boat 3D printed in 1/72! As usual i rush around snapping things a little too quick but if i don't it would take all day to look at everything. I always have a look at whats for sale first but there wasn't much i wanted this year. O.K. I did buy a Revell An-225 and a Mach2 Comet 4C but most of it was all too expensive so i waited for the swap & sell but then i only brought 4 kits, 3 decals sheets and a book! But the kits were a Italeri 1/72 B-52H, Amodel 1/72 Bison 3M bomber, Trumpeter 1/72 USMC Landing craft (Hovercraft) and a Trumpeter 1/35 THAAD missile system!

Glenn autorThanks Martin & Holger. You know i know a lot of people by their face but not there name! I'm not very good at remembering names! I tend to call everyone "mate" I've been going to Model Expo for more than 25 years so a lot of people know my face as i used to help set up and work on a mates stand selling kits. There is a few people i have known for more than 25 years from other clubs (I stopped going to clubs, I was in 3 for a few years) but i just don't know their names! I only seem to remember pretty woman's names for some reason, that's why i can't remember some of these dudes names. I speak to people each year, remember i only see most of them once a year so I'll never remember who some of them are, Unless a pretty woman comes along (not too likely here though) I can't remember meeting Kerry as i don't know what most people on here look like? If there like me i keep a very low profile on the internets no pics of me, i don't do facelook or instarspam stuff 🙂

Holger Kranich@ Glenn, i have the same Problem. So many mates around and i only know the half by Name. Isnt "Mate" a Name? 😉

Glenn autorThanks guys! Hey Alec, I did like the Saunders Roe Princess, But most people i spoke to were concerned about the rough 3d print finish! It would take a lot of filler and smoothing to get it right. Not sure how much it will be? $$$$$

Album info
Australia's biggest model competition was on over the long weekend last weekend. June 8th - 10th. Here's the first album from the event. I'll upload more albums later i took about 460 photos of things that caught my eye but not everything there. Please note there is no captions on the photos i don't know who built them or if they got a placing in the competition. The swap & sell held upstairs (no photos from that) was the biggest yet in a room twice the size of the old one, about 50 x 200 feet long! and loads of kits for sale. I picked up a couple well o.k. 4 kits there but didn't buy too much from the retailers as stuff was too expensive!!!
