All of the finning is assembled one piece at a time. The top sprue has the cylinder head fins.

The disc brake had some nasty ejector pin marks.

I punced out some .005" thick filler pieces and glued them in.

Then sand the disc, add a little Alclad II Stainless Steel paint.

Air brush a wee bit of darker shade.

Dress it up a bit with semigloss black for the carrier.

The kit supplied exhaust baffles lack detail.

Drill a .024" hole through.

The real baffles have a steel pin to grab with pliers, so insert some .024" plastic rod.

Those exhausts look pretty good, is the plating as nice as it looks in the pics? Will you have to strip it for the forks etc?

The plating is not the best, in some cases I might have to try some Alclad Chrome over gloss black. For the forks, I will have to repaint with a more realistic shade. Oddly enough, the kit fork tubes are black plastic, not plated. The lower fork legs will need to be done like polished aluminum.
