A 1:72 Extra 300. Needs an interior, spraying and decals. 

A Hobbycraft 1/72 Cessna Skymaster. A lot of sanding and filling required.. and, as you can see, not enough place for counterweight in the nose.. a tailsitter. So I attached a thin rod under it’s belly to keep it’s nose down 🙁 

This is the Skymaster I want to build; as a Stephen King fan the one from the movie ‘The Nightflyer’. Just black with some red details.. 

An Amodel 1:72 PZL-104 Wilga. I always liked this Russian scheme, so I bought a kit on EBay as it’s long out of production.

Some of you asked where I keep my big models; as you can see I have a room with big shelves 😉 

..and the upper shelf on the right will become the place for the An-225. After I cleared it ofcourse 😉  

A 1:72 Cayuse. Left the doors out intentionally, so looking for colourful civilian paint and decals. 

I have 3 of this Ikea showcases for my little kits.
I made some extra shelves from plexiglass so I have place for 3 layers of little kits. As you can see, I still need to finish a lot of these little kits.. 

 

An ExtraTech 1:72 Alouette II. A very challenging kit, as it exist of 60% PE parts. So some skills with PE and applying fine droplets of superglue are required! Nevertheless a real gem in this scale. I also have the KLu version with wheels in my stash.

A Whirlybird 1:72 Sikorsky S-58ET kit. Donor kit is the Italeri UH-34.

A Testors 1:72 Northrop B-2A Stealth Bomber. Bought this kit in 1999 or so, with almost EVERY part warped in the sprues! What a bad quality. I still got a photo somewhere when I was glueing the upper body to the lower half with 20 clamps or so. Still got the kit unfinished like this today; somehow I don’t want to finish it anymore due to frustration and bad decals with the kit.. maybe someday. 

 

I really would like to build the Modelsvit 1:72 Ilyushin Il-86, and convert it into the Il-80 (the Russian ‘Doomsday plane’ like the Boeing E-4). It’s so impressive and good looking 😉 ... 

So I enlarged a side view drawing of a Il-80 in 1:72 scale. This would be the size of the model... just great 🙂 ! This kit is on my wishlist. Hope to find a bargain someday

Before my Modelsvit An-225 it was the biggest kit in my stash, but not anymore. 

Here I compared the 3 biggest kits in my stash, in 2015.
