No, not something special, it is documented by a photograph. Most probably the ailerons are spares taken from another aircraft.

Lovely model, looks great - thanks for sharing! Camel is an iconic aircraft and is one of the best looking biplanes imho. I feel a wishlist add coming on.

Sopwith Camel F1 of the Greek Naval Air Service (NAY) 1919.
At the end of their operational carreer NAY camels were looking rather "tired" using parts from every possible source to keep them airworthy.
