Sorry, no build pics......Interesting thing when adding the Eduard decals.....I found that after application, using Mr. Mark Setter, I could carefully peel and remove the backing film leaving only the decal print. It looks absolutely impressive and real. Yes, my eyes aren't the best any more and some of the alignment is off. I also used some of the Tamiya kit decals. These are high quality but a small amount of 'silvering' is apparent.

Hi Dave. Great build. What did you use on the spinners? The burnishing makes them look metallic under the red. Is there a technique or is it a product?

Gary.....I painted a random pattern of XF16 and XF67 on the spinners before spraying light coats of XF7 Red. When completely dry, I scraped some 'chipping' marks uncovering the underlying colours, then sanded with 2500 grit sponge until just the right amount of transparency was achieved. The sanding dulls the edges of the chipping for a natural worn look.......well, that's the idea anyway.
