not game to finish it because every time I touch it something goes wrong.

i started when I was six years old.
Built hundreds.
last real effort was about 15 years ago.
Standards appear to have increased exponentially both in the quality of the plastic and in the attention to detail in the construction.
And age is reducing my patience and dexterity.

I think you are being too hard on yourself. That looks pretty good to me. Its a shame you can't finish it.
