A10C : Build Report

The A-10 has a version of the ACES-II ejection seat. Details on the original mold are ...meh. Here's a list of the modifications: headrest has been brought a bit toward the front and canopy breakers were added. The original emergency oxygen tank, inertia reels and seat belts were cut off and remade from scratch with styrine rod, copper wire and Tamiya tape. Also, back cushion was added using Green Stuff putty, and seat cushion was sanded down (original was too high). Ejection handles and manual chute deploy handle will need a bit of sanding down. 

The instrument panel's glareshield is molded asymmetrically. Don't know if it's just this particular sprue that is faulted... 

Bad, bad, bad...
