John E autorDuring this build, I learned that the Aotake is not correct for Pearl Harbor Zeros. So this build is inaccurate. 🙂 The Pearl Harbor zeros were built in Mitsubishi plants, which did not use Aotake. Aotake is correct for the Nakajima built A6Ms.
I used the Pearl Harbor A6M color formula provided by Greg Springer on j-aircraft.com. I notice that I need more paint by the cockpit and have some decal silvering. More things to fix later.
The markings are for Sumio Nouno on Dec. 7 from Berna decals. I like the Berna decals but they are rather thick. Overall, a very fun build!
