Fit is excellent sofar. Parts are fiddly, and flash is all around, but the plastic is friendly to work with.

Very clever design by Mikromir, by molding it this way you are able to clean the ring without the risk of breaking it, as the inner is quite rigid.

Creating the rather large flag using foil and the kits decals. The flag came as one large decal, which I cut in half.

Robert, I didn't know it existed until I got it for very little money from a local auction site, bought it together with the type XVII Walther u boat. After reading about it I got intrigued by it, so will build it right away, and cue it with the other subs ready to get a coat of paint 🙂
