How is the Su-25 kit so far? I got the Art-Model one and is apparently just as rough, other that the Art-Model kit costs over 35€!

The kit so far is quite underwhelming compared to zvezda's other more recent kits.
That said it should build up to a decent model but there are many sinkholes and gaps. So some putty is needed. At a price under 20 euros this is probably the better buy when looking at value for money.
I can't wait for the clear prop su-25 though. Was announced two years ago but i guess the land of zvezda caused some delays. They did confirm that development is still going on but no date yet. Their mig-23 should come out next month though.

I am very surprised that their MiG-23 is indeed going to be released in weeks. My impression was that it's on hold undefinitely.
As for their Su-25 and MiG-19PM I have little hope that this year anything will happen, but just like you I kind barely wait for their release.
I am curious how this Zvezda kit will look at the end. Good luck!

I was surprized as well, especially since if anything (and I'm not mistaken), I'd have thought that the Su-25 would come before the MIG-23 as it was announced first.
As taken literarily from their response: MiG23 will be released this month, then TB2.
So we'll see 🙂

And welcome aboard Jan Peters! I know that feel 🤣 I'm currently forcing myself to finish a few WIPs before I start work on a new kit from the stash. Sometimes it's just so tempting to start a new kit as the kits your working on need a good sit down session(decals/weathering/camo paint) to make progress, and a new kit is just cut/glue and go.

I wanted to wait until the newly tooled SU-25 from ClearProp comes out, but since the don't have a date yet we'll just start with the Zvezda one I already had in my stash. I will use the decals and masks from Foxbot.
