1989 Batwing

This kit is the reason why I started to work on all the kits under my projects, I did a terrible job on the first one gluing it that it forever changed how i built model kits. What didn’t help is that the 2016 kit is extremely pricey.

Either way lessons learned and tried to make the best version of this as possible, I used Smoke on the canopy and clear glue to add lenses on his guidance system. I hollowed out the machine gun and barrels, and used mirror chrome vinyl on the lights. There’s a picture of the old and new kits, but I loved the size of this kit and was hoping the Batman forever batwing would be similar but they are not.

The only work I did was use a Dremmel around the kit to ensure it all fit perfectly and there’s no empty spaces around. I hope you like this one!
