First kit ive finished with chrome parts, they were a bit of a paint to work with and border on looking toyish but i am really happy with how shiny the finished model is. I tried out a new to me technique on this and painted the frame with nail polish - will definitely be trying it more, it opens up a lot more colors and metallic effects than i am used to seeing at the model shop.
