Boeing B-29 Superfortress

My second plane ever, and a lot more fun than the snap-tite warthog! I did a bunch of pre-shading, before learning that doesn’t really work with metallic paints. Still good practice! I originally got this kit to depict the B-29 from Fallout New Vegas, and that influenced the pilot paint scheme, but I really liked how bright and shiny it looks factory new. The props should spin, but i guess i went a little heavy on the glue because they don’t exactly spin smoothly. I regret not removing the seam line running down the length of the plane, but I will make up for it with some future larger B-29 that gets the fallout treatment this was meant to receive.
