Tiger 1

Welcome to my second 1:35 model!

After finishing my Panzer IV, I gained a new appreciation for the 1:35 scale.

First, I really like the size of the finished model, and the details are much more enjoyable compared to 1:72 (although 1:72 has its charm too).
Secondly, I can now appreciate the realistic weathering techniques some of you guys use so much more. The washes at the end were the hardest part of the project, but I guess this hobby really takes time to master.

I will upload some pictures shortly, but I really enjoyed building the Tiger.

A few words about the camo: I found a picture of the 007 Tiger on Pinterest (the Tamiya kit comes with decals for it) and tried to replicate it as accurately as possible for a realistic look.
