My first Academy Model ever..... and really enjoyed this little model I was impress with the build quality and easy to put together, the color instructions were..... not good at all. I had to look around before i find what i think, is the closes to what is the box art. Photos will follow as soon is possible.

I am just with the decals so far no problems, the one that is worrying me is the one for cone of the propeller, I will let you know, thanks for the heads up.

As you've noted the Academy decals is stiff, thick and impossible over the slightest curve. Newer Academy kits often have decals made by Cartograph and those is excellent but the old Academy decals is a sorry history.

yep Now i know what you mean when i was putting the decals it felt that they what to do what the the decal want and not what i wanted 🙂. an i end up with a couple of them not aligned and two reap off (that was my fault)

Hi Urban Gardini here you can see where iI had issues with the decals( the decals below the wing are my fault)

Yeah, that looks like Academy decals allright. By the looks of it they've not fared well with the ageing.

Thanks mate, i will upgrade my self to an airbrush in the next few months for the moment I am testing the spry paint from Humbrol ( I aim finishing a P-51using the mix spray color and brush)
