A century ago a Pfalz D.IIIa was converted into a triplane and flown in October 1917. As biplane the performance was better, so the project was stopped. There are only 3 pictures known, for a famous one see here: [img1]

The model was build using a Eduard kit and a conversion set from Spin Models
