Bargain kit for £8, all went together easily and with minimal swearing.
Only moans:
1) The instructions are wrong re: the cheek air inlets. Only the MkII had them (I believe). The main instructions just tell you to attach them (which you have to do by eye) regardless of the Mark you're building, and the painting instructions seem to have them fitted for the Mark I and not the Mark II, which is the wrong way around.
2) The decals are thicker than the bloody wings! I lost count of how many coats of softener I applied to get them to even slightly settle into the panel lines. Conversely though, they're were also really fragile (even before I'd plastered them in softener). To add insult to injury, they were slightly out of register too (you might be able see a bit of a white halo on the starboard wing roundel in these photos: the Operation Torch decals were so skewed I couldn't use them, hence the regular FAA decals).
Still enjoyed it though 🙂
