Boeing B-47 Stratojet

09-01-17 New project started as a side one. Do like a good strategic bomber. My 1st Academy kit and looks a decent fit quality with details. Will go for the B-47B but will probably regret it when it comes to the glazed parts of the nose.

18-01-17 Has gone together very easily with no filler and only a light sanding needed. No major problems yet. Think the plans got the tail guns the wrong way round.

22-02-17 Have bough Vallejo Metallic Aluminium pain and must say goes on well. Done the canopy as well though had a misshap where I sealed in a piece of tape!

22-05-17 Bit of a delay as have moved house but catching up again. Made a mistake with the decals for the top of the wings so have ordered some new USAF markings and will paint on the black lines.

23-08-2017 Pretty much finished. Have not added walkway lines onto wing. Will practice with new airbrush 1st for a while then go back on a later date. Overall think it looks good.
