Very interesting, seen already a lot of complaining comments to this kit.

I have ordered it, waiting to see the plastic to judge. I have the brengun's one too, but the seat was missing in my box, waiting for replacement, hopefully. It have some nasty sink marks all along the trailing upper edge...

I'll do, but I think we have to wait at least a week for the sabre kits to arrive...

Just had a quick look at both kits, comparing them to the scale plans in MMP and Avia Press books: Brengun's is slightly underscaled while Sabrekits' is spot on; B. has more part counts and give you the option of separate wing control surfaces, a small PE fret with small details and a glider towing hook but NO IP, a better two piece canopy, a better detailed engine, option for flame dampers exhaust , but has long sink marks along all the upper trailing edges and some undefined panel lines on the fuselage bottom; S. has a better surface details, tropical air filter, IP decals, underwing landing light (missing in B.), lesser part counts but option for open or closed cowling flaps and looks to be a simpler build... Both kit seems to have decent cockpit details, but have to build them to judge.
After more then a month still no sign of a replacement seat from Brengun ( forgot to tell you that the decals were slightly out of register too), nor a reply to my e-mails... I will send a last one.
As British says, the proof is in the pudding: better build them, then judge!
I think I will start the Sabrekits first, thought...

Many many thanks Andrea for this review, it really makes me think about getting any of them. Seems like the most accurate can be only a kitbash of both 😉

I'm thankful to see another Hs-126 on the market! I feel bad for both Brengun and SabreKits for releasing their new molds side by side as this will cut into both their profits. It sounds like this kit here is THE one to go for, so far, especially with so many varieties of markings available! I've longed to build one in Greek markings but hymned and hawed over correcting, inscribing and super detailing the 1977 vintage Airfix kit. (Which was the newest tooling up to this year.) I'll be eagerly watching for this project to start!
