On this step, i will purchase updates and analyse the built the kit.

Gustavo, are you going to use a SAC metal gear for this large kit? These metal gears are rather soft and could be even more weak than the original plastic gear. Just a thought.

Yes, i have a metal landing gear, but i need more weight in nose.

Hi Gustavo,
I've got the SAC metal gear on a 1:48 B-25, and with the weight needed to keep that on its nose wheel, the SAC gear over time bends under the weight.
If i remember this kit right, the plastic gear should be good enough for the weight needed on it.

Augie the B-29 is more heaviest on tail than B-25, i need a lot a weight on nose, and i believe in tire of the nose gear. I think the tungsten putty inside the tire improve the weight. On side of gearbox i shape the lead with glue to balance the kit. I hope this option. 🙂

Thanks this sugests guys, i think a better way, maybe i try a main landing gear with a plastic gear.

HI Gustavo,
Indeed the 29 heavier over the back so to speak, but IIRC the thickness of the undercarriage legs are not that different.
If the weight i needed for a 25 overtime makes them bend, I am sure it will on a 29 🙂
the weights will be best along side the nose wheel bay and you may have to sacrifice the radio operators cabin and fill it.
cheers
