Short Sunderland from 461 Sqn U for Uncle W6077 attacks surfaced U-boats in Bay of Biscay on 30th July 1943. Pilot Dudley Marrows attacks and sinks U-boat 461 by depth charge. Then drops life raft to rescue surviving crew. U-461 was a strategically valued Milk Cow type XIV
