This my first attempt at building model airplanes since I was a kid. It's turning out to be my guinea pig for new techniques...well, new to me, like detail painting, painting, airbrushing, scribing, sanding, etc.

Chris Carrell autorI'm going for a top coat of Alclad II Aluminum. Then a gloss clear, final This is the first coat of a gloss black base. Note: Lots of struggles and lost small parts. Gluing the engine intakes to the body left abrupt edges. I spent weeks filling, sanding, priming...I finally said it's good enough. Trying to mask the canopy...oof. Great for learning though.
