AMD 40 Panhard 178

This is a replica of the AMD 40 Panhard 178, a modified version of the AMD 35 Panhard 178 fitted with a special turret and a 47mm gun. Only one model was built and it was quickly deployed within the 4th Light Mechanical Division. According to a battle report, its crew was able to destroy two German tanks before it had to be scuttled. When the Germans stumbled on the wreck of the AMD 40, they decided to take pictures of it because they had never even heard of this particular version of the AMD 35.
