I've made a start on the Hawk trainer. I've put weight in the nose so hopefully it won't be a tail sitter! Cockpit put together and inserted into aircraft. So far, so good. 🙂

After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing, I managed to get the canopy on. (masked). Next will be primer. 🙂

Gloss varnish added and then the fun part of the decals was next. Underneath, by the wheels, I had to paint in where the decal should have been due to them tearing badly. Next will be painting all of the additions that need to be added. 🙂

I had to touch in the stars on my Be-6 tail.....cracked on the fin to rudder hinge line.!
People don't notice unless you point it out

What a cool little red machine! I like that you managed the pre-shading to shine through the red paint coat! Decaling is awesome too, that couldn't have been easy.
