The original STL has a long cockpit piece and it was difficult to polish the inside of the glazing. I sliced the file into three (back, front and guns) to make it easier

I am putting a bandai dash into the new cockpit - it needed to be sanded to fit

Cockpit fully painted. The Bandai seat has also been remodelled to (eventually) fit a more in-scale pilot

The original file had the cap at the back of the cockpit connected to the body. I wanted it to rotate with the cockpit, so it was cut off and a section of appropriately sized conduit was attached. That will eventually be glued to the rear of the cockpit.

I use Monocure Crystal Clear Pro 3D Printer Resin (an Australian brand). I've had good success with it, using an Elegoo Mars 2P printer.

Thanks guys, and welcome. This one might go slowly, unless I can find an STL for Hera as a pilot, and Sabine as the gunner. If anybody has any sources - let me know.

Album info

This is the prototype B-Wing fighter seen in Star Wars: Rebels season 2. The kit is from a file produced by Pocket Dimension Studios and printed by myself, scaled down to 1/72. I am modifying the printed parts to produce cockpit interiors and rotating cockpits. The pilot's cockpit and some parts will come from a Bandai 1/72 B-Wing kit.
