Yeh I keep looking at other models as reference and try and match what I see, not easy with the high standard that's out there but it's a blast !!!!

Ay if u keep building ull keep progressing every model u do u will learn from and think of new idears it will come to u look at the paint differens on this chopper to ur engien on ur buffalo big step allready

Y're right, it's a learning curve, painting of the diff rant objects to get the affect you want is not easy , to thick /to runny (washed out ) etc, .Just ordered a Infinity airbrush ,does any body out there use one ( tying to open up a topic )Am using a no brand , no needle size airbrush at the moment , the more I use the more limitations it has , what are you using Uncle ?

Hi Choppy, slow, tonight's the first for a while, to many interference's I'll post some photo's later in the week . Hows your Catalina coming along The canopy scratch build looked impressive Waiting for my Cat to to arrive . The wess*x is two tone , how do you get the masking tape to go around the nose and over the back of the tail boom without the tape creasing

Try little bits at a time or go to a crash shop suppliers and get sum 3M pin stripe tape it comes in all different sizes very flexible stuff as for the cat its on hold due to a major stuff up with using heat so I'm on a B-24 done sum scratch builds with styreen but nothing to write home about

yea mate working again flat out no time for models atm up at yallander flat farming got a full time gig. seeding now so maybe after that i can do a model or to then harvest will be the next killer but its grate job with heaps of perks so cant complain good to talk to u again hope u had a good time over seas mate good to hear
