Gary, if you decide to build it, try to use half number of the shields. If you don't prefer, then install the paddles first. I first installed the shields as seen and then had problems to keep the paddles parallel, the shields blocked them. I enjoyed building the kit, it was fun...

Selman looks good, am in the process of buildig this kit now, but hand painted shields and a cloth sail, living 30min away from the Viking ship museum in Oslo I feel I must. 🙂😢
