Is this anything to do with Jacques Cousteau. ? If so, he would be proud to have it on his desk. 👍 🙂

acualy ,no Kerry , Jacques Cousteau had the "Calypso" I built that one when I was 23 ,..........i'm 70 now (an old buggar) lol I also built the "Le Suroit" . This model is a beautifuly designed survey vessel and screemed to be done in a larger scale ,..................i rebuilt this 5 feet long it was beautiful and radio controled ,....unfortunatly i had to move into smaller housing and couldn't keep it ,...oh well , such is life . I have other things now that make me feel good lol . By the way Well done TIM, you have done a beatiful job on this ......Cheers

Kerry, the Le Suroit has no direct link to Jacque Cousteau. However, Jacque Cousteau's research vessel 'Calypso' is in my stash waiting to be built. Ocean Exploration Vessel (Revell 05101, 1:125)

Something out of the usual blend of topics - and really nicely made too! Really nice clean build, looks great in the vitrine, well made.

Oh, that is so cool. Not many civilian ships built here, good to see your nice build. 👍

Really nice - Now you only need the 1:200 Trumpeter Titanic for your dio!😉

Nice display piece. 🙂 The photos ought to be color corrected though, to show the hull being white. I suspect the photos have an orange tint to them. In artificial lighting, I guess the reddish base plate might give the white hull a slight reddish tint. Presumably looking different with sunlight.
