TreehuggerI wonder how effective that metal "fence" is, seems so simple and fairly light weight. 🙂

Jacob RittenhouseIt's super effective against a very specific type of projectile. It's designed to defeat High Explosive Anti-Tank (HEAT) rounds. HEAT works by impacting the target, exploding, and the force of the explosion liquidizes and propels a copper perpetrator that can defeat very thick armor. The thin metal fencing causes HEAT rounds to prematurely detonate, which massively degrades the effectiveness of the copper perpetrator.
