There are masks available for this model Mona. The one I've used is Montex which is OK but not great. 👍

P1Y1 Ginga (Allied code name Frances) were just starting to come off the production line in real numbers by October 1944 which is the reason that this aircraft has not received any significant weathering.
262 Hikotai (Attack Squadron) was under the leadership of 762 Kokutai (Naval Flying Group). During the Battle of Formosa in October 1944, 262 Hikotai P1Y1 Ginga's (Milky Way) were involved as a part of 762 Kokutai. The CO of 762 Kokutai was Capt (IJN) Kuno Shuzo, a veteran Naval aviator who was in command from Aug 1944 until the end of the war.
