P-47D Thunderbolt 1/72 HTC (Academy mold) from Brazilian Air Force - Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB).
The pilot was Lieutnant Dornelles that died in April, 26th when this airplane (original) was shotdown in Italy. It was the last Brazilian P-47D lost in combat on WWII.
Aerospace Museum - Museu Aerospacial (MUSAL) - in Rio de Janeiro repainted this airplane that was in airworth condition two decades before.

I live near the place where he was shot down. I'm just planning to build his P-47D in 1/32 scale, with a decal sheet from brasilian FCM.
