Such bizarre aircraft - should be fun to build as models. Just as I was planning a double build of the two jet driven versions, I got hold of a super rare kit of the propeller driven version. So all of a sudden this turned into a triple build... 😉

Erik De SmetI might have the Heller version somewhere in my stash, but I cannot check it for the moment. I remember to have bought several Saab kits at the Linkoping museum shop some years ago. Can you compare the Heller and Special Hobby kits ?

Thomas Kolb АвторErik, I have never built the Heller kit, but I understand that it has raised panel lines, wheras the SH kits have recessed ones. Besides this, I think both are fairly accurate representations of the J-21A. To build the J-21R in 1:72, your only choice is really the SH kit, unless you are prepared to do a fair amount of scratchbuilding.
