Used white primer to mask the fabric backside, which was uncolored linen.
Boris B Following this build too, as I have one of these kits well on its way (but on hold at the moment). I found the kit nice, but there are corrections needed, not the least the weird detailing on the wings.
I don't have Dana Bell's book, so just going with the images on the web.
