About:: Welcome to Scale Scotland an annual exhibition of models and model making coming to Edinburgh this September. The show is organised and run by an enthusiastic bunch of modellers and the venue will be the Hilton Hotel at Edinburgh Airport.

Scale Scotland is setting the bar high, encompassing two large suites along with a number of other rooms at the Hilton Edinburgh Airport and we hope to attract modellers from all around the UK and further afield. This is our first show, so we are pulling out all the stops to make this a must for every modeller's calendar.

Around 25 traders will attend the event from all over the the UK and many have already confirmed their attendance. Trade space for the show is selling fast and the majority of space has already been allocated. We confidently expect all trade space to be sold out by show time.

Scale Scotland Is The Place To Be
As already mentioned above, Scale Scotland has ambitions to become one of the main UK events in future years. Our first year will bring together a huge amount of talent with plenty of inspirational models and displays to come and see. The show is nothing without the modellers and we hope that our event allows modellers to share their wealth of experience and knowledge.

The other important element to shows like this is the public. Events such as this are a shop window for a younger audience to come and see great models and hopefully capture the imagination of many to take up the hobby. Under 16s can attend for free, so make the most of the chance to come along and experience a multitude of displays and trade stalls which will be unforgettable.

Входна такса:: The show is open to the public from 10am until 5pm. Admission is £3.00 for an adult, under 16s free and our family ticket is great value at £5. You will be issued with a wristband to allow you to come and go.

By Train: From Haymarket Station:
The nearest train station is Haymarket, 7 miles from the hotel; onward transport from Haymarket is feasible by bus, tram or taxi, all available from outside the station. •A taxi rank is located just outside the train station and will cost between £15 - £20 one way.
•An Airlink Bus (No.100) runs from Shandwick Place every 10 minutes and stops outside the hotel. Adult fare (single/return) is £4/£7 and £2/£3 for children.
•Haymarket tram stop is located outside the station and stops at the airport. The adult fare (single/return) is £5/£8 with concessions available for children.

By Train: From Waverley Station:
Waverley Station is located 8 miles from the hotel.
Onward travel:
• A taxi rank is located just outside the train station on Waverley Bridge.
• An Airlink Bus (No.100) runs from Waverley Bridge every 10 minutes and stops outside the hotel.
• St Andrews Square tram stop just a short walk from the station and stops at the airport.
• Fares same as above for Haymarket Station.

By Car: From the City Centre:
Follow directions for the M9 which will take you on to the A8 out of the City Centre. You will pass Murrayfield Stadium on your left, Edinburgh Zoo on your right and the Gyle Shopping Centre. Follow directions for Edinburgh Airport. The hotel is located on your right hand side once you enter the airport grounds. The hotel provides 240 car parking spaces; please note that fees apply.

By Car: From the M8/M9:
If you are travelling on the M9, join the M8 and take the last junction which is the Newbridge exit. Follow directions for Edinburgh Airport. The hotel is located on your right hand side after you enter the airport grounds. The hotel provides 240 car parking spaces; negociated £3 a day for visitors, free for trade.

By Car: From the South:
West and North West – Take the M6 north leading onto the A74 (M) and then M74. Follow signs for Edinburgh taking the A8 route leading you onto the M8 (Edinburgh) , then M9 (Forth Road Bridge), back on to the A8 for Edinburgh Airport.

By Car: From the East:
Take the M1 north, leave at Scotch Corner onto A66 then onto M6 North and follow as above.

By Car: From the North East:
North East – Taking the A1(M) north , Follow signs for Jedburgh and join A68. Continue on A68 following signs for Edinburgh. Join A720 following signs for Edinburgh (South & West) Continue on A720 following signs for Forth Road Bridge. Join A8 and follow signs for Edinburgh Airport.
