Salut les frenchies : en fait j'en fait un peu tous les soirs, le H-19 était vraiment très simple et rapide à faire. J'ai voulu attaquer une maquette plus dure et qui me tient à coeur pour changer😉. @Laurent : oui j'ai quelques plans globaux du Super mais pas des détails alors je fais avec les photos dont je dispose, j'essaie de conserver les proportions ; Quand bien même j'aurais les plans et dimensions de tous les détails il faudrait tout rapporter à la taille de la maquette qui n'est pas à 100 %à l'echelle , je le crains. @Bernd : j'avoue qu'il faut être très motivé pour attaquer un tel projet et j'ai encore le HUP2 de piaseki et le S51 à faire dans la foulée😉 il faut savoir que toutes les pièces sont à revoir ... en gros il n'y a que le fuselage à garder

@perry : the canopy was entirely sanded and then polished by Tamiya compound. After that, i will dive the canopy in future to get a shiny look😉

Still following, but I was just wondering - I somehow assume you go for the latest grey-grey camo, don't you? Is there big difference between the grey ones and the white-and-blue Frelons? Any mods in between?

@ Wardog : the two tones of grey are H337 (medium gray ) and H308 (light gray ); you can sea the result if you look at my NH90 NFH in my albums. For the tan colour , i will use H313. The cockpit is mat black so i use H77 dark gray.
@ Łukasz : yes i will go for the grey-grey camo 🙂
From 1968 to 1982 : camo grey-blue and white (anti-submarine duties )
From 1982 to 1994 : camo overall grey-blue (new weather radar in the nose and aerials, airlift and commando support duties)
From 1994 : camo light grey - medium grey (CSAR duties, new aerials, GPS, armored cockpit,flares launchers in the sponsons and a 20mm gun ) . The last mod in 2001: FLIR

Oh, one more question, if you please. Do you have a color match for the "green" on ALAT Gazelles and armored vehicles?

For the green on three tones camo gazelle or puma or NH90 i use H422 green from Gunze. You can see the result in my albums

If you want to paint the blue-gray colour, you can mix H55 and H331 : 50/50

@Bart : for the paneling i spray free hand with my airbrush some H342 (oil) very diluted on the lines. Then i use a dark wash to fill the lines and rivets

@Marc : c'est un gros projet de le faire en scratch, respect. La maquette mach2 demande du travail mais c'est rien à côté de partir de rien

Je suis sur le Master depuis un peu moins de 2 ans.
Pour l'instant avant de passer aux cartes plastiques, je travaille certaines parties en 3D.
Mais entre les 2, j'ai quelques autres Masters en cours, comme les Pumas, Cougars et autres félins au 48e...
Et une tripotée de Masters de blindés russes aussi au 48
En tout cas, ton Sufre est superbe!
