Well Done, Jake! I have this engine upgrade too and I was wondering where any painting reference could be found. For this helicopter it's surprisingly hard to find.

I have memories to use since I worked on them for four years but I can look to see if I have any old photos and upload them for the reference. It could take me a few days to find them.

it looks good, but it will look better if you rotate the pictures (album>manage>advance options) 😉

Album info

This is my HH-46D that I deployed with on the USS Wasp (LHD-1) in 1995-1996. I was assigned to HC-8 Det 2 at NAS Norfolk, Virginia now HSC-28 flying H-60s and the H-46 is now retired. It is an Academy 1/48 scale and was an amazing build. I added the aft clamshell access and the forward transmission areas from Black Dog kits and the tow bar as well. Detailed and challenging but turned out great.
