You are right. It's MDF. All the battleset buildings come from sarissa productions:

John and me are probably just disappointed that's not plastic.
Some buildings in their battlesdts are made of plastic nonetheless: e.g. the ruins in the "Battle of Bastogne" - set.

John SassoA quick comment. The model is NOT 1/35 scale. More like 1/32 or bigger. The figures and donkey look way too big, but the gun looks OK to the casual viewer.
