The Novi V8 races at Indianapolis from 1946 to 1965 in one form or another making an unbelievable amount of power before it exited the stage. This 1948 version probably developed around 450 HP from its screaming Supercharged V8. The sound of the supercharger made this a fan favorite and my dad was no exception he fell in love with the Novi and Duke Nalon was his favorite driver. This car reached its peak in 1948 with a 3rd place finish, which is the car I have emulated here.

Bill NewcomerVery nicely done. I must say the men that drove the 1:1s were quite brave to run at speed on such skinny tires and no safety equipment.
