Another project I've been working on. Kitsworld IP decals. My attempt at a pilot in 1/48. I think he'll look good enough in the cockpit. Fit is pretty good. Vokes chin filter fitted. About ready for a guide coat to see where I'm at

Yeah, like I said, if you go to display it "curbside", then you really don't have to worry about the turbo as, once you lock the two halves together, it will never be seen.

Good point. I'll likely go that route anyways. Not like I have the extra display room to have body panels off.

Got this old Esci kit up and running awhile ago. Almost as much flash as kit but that's ok. Engine assembled, painted and wired. Body work is done and painted. Will share more photos soon.

I've got a few of these little 1/43 Heller kits. This is the first one I've cracked into. So small. Always liked these old British everyday cars. Of course there's not much to the kit at all. I painted it with a flat green and then hit it with a dusting of clear just to make it look less flat. Wanted it to be like a well used car with the gloss knocked off. Fun and quick build.

Got a start on this ancient piece of goodness. Using a few different kits as the first one I got had some incredible tire burn. Kit chrome was in rough shape so we stripped that to reveal that it was injected in clear this time. So, some primer and gloss black and a re-chrome. Got the body to fit together pretty well with its multiple pieces. More soon.

Exceedingly simple old kit. Fun though. The spinners are pretty wildly overscaled. But the overall shape of the car I think Airfix got mostly right. I'd consider picking up another and maybe scratching some smaller spinners and making it the NART '65 Le Mans winner.

Hmmm. Good question. I don't believe so. But now, a box art replication in this case would be very cool. A 1/25 scale garage front and driveway, the car built and painted as such and a car wash girl. Good idea.
