Hi Phil, is this a new tool or is it the old Trimaster/ Dragon kit?
1 November 2012, 20:56

@Christian, this is the old TriMaster mould, but it looks good
@Holger, I think that the kit looks very nice with fine engraved pannellines, just the cockpit looks a little to basic, there must I put some time and work in, but that's fun 😉
Thanks for the nice comment mates, greetz Phil
1 November 2012, 22:25

@Holger, yes my friend, that's my intention, to put it in a Dio,
the picture I see a few weeks ago tells a story where US soldiers find this little Komet,
Greetz Phil 😉

Maybe you can put a little paint on the wiring you did.
4 November 2012, 17:50

A wonderful little Power egg!!
Fine and tricky scratch build you did!!! It`s a cool idea to open the ammunition hatches!
Pls. let me say, you made a fine scratch work! Superb
What`s your camo choice for this humming bird?
4 November 2012, 17:54

@Dirk, the camo choice is a difficult one, first I want it make in his natural colors like metal and wood with some pieces of dark grey, but now that I have take a closer look at the camo sheme of the 2/JG 400 in summer 44 in Brandis I just do not now it yet!
4 November 2012, 19:31

Nice work, Philip! I wish I had seen this earlier, as I have a resin seat for a 1:48 163 that I'll never use. I could have donated it to your project!
Your 163 is not so little, I have one in 1:72 in the stash - now that's little! 🙂
4 November 2012, 19:34

Thanks Bill, you are very kind but as you see the pit is already done, the seet is not that bad, with some buggles its OK, the kit is not that small as I first thougt but still it's my little Komet 😉
Thanks for your kind words Bill

Very nice so far! I was always interested in the Comet and build a lot of them in any scale. The testing grounds of these aircrafts are very close to the place I`m living. For further informations look here: robdebie.home.xs4all.nl/me163.htm In my opinion the best website dedicated to comets
