Nils Steyaert autora small update, ive started gathering resources and materials for this build.
i found the blueprints/technical drawings of the original trawler on a Reddit page (via google). after printing this out to size (same dimentions as the Revell trawler hull) im now looking at drawing plans for the main cabin. i should'nt be that complicated to build.

Greg BakerYou bet I do Erik. Was going to mention it in fact. I've got my set stashed away ready to go. Maybe that should be my next Tintin build. I'm currently working on the 3D model for a couple of 1/72 scale cars (WW Beetle and and MG) that will be part of Herge's abandoned Tintin and the Thermozero adventure. Only a few scruffy rough pencil pages exist, but it seemed like a neat idea to try printing in transparent resin and adding a panel line wash. But I have been thinking about another plane... maybe the Mosquito is the next one to do. How about a twin build, Nils?

Alex KHa! Back in the '80s, when no Potez 63 kit was available in 1:48, a well-known Greek modeller (Megas Tsonos) had indeed the same idea - he converted a 48th Bf110 into a Potez 633... Perhaps the relevant sketches he did for the conversion and published in a Greek modelling magazine of the time might be of help for you, when you get round to this project... (drop me a line then). painting of the main model is largly completed, decals have been added and the whole thing has been sealed with a coat of Humbrol clear.
next step is to finish the whole thing with a matt-coat of varnish and then i can add the external loads (that still needs more paint).
its starting to come together quite nicely, the next few sessions will focus on the carrierdeck display stand.

had some problems with masking the deck display, but nothing that couldnt be fixed.
all in all, im quite satisfied with the results.

those boxes are filled with other stuff, some of its mine, some from the missus, others are DVD's.
all the kits are already unpacked and shelved.
